CERVICAL SPONDYLOSIS

Cervical spondylosis is the degenerative condition of the cervical vertebra. It usually occurs in elderly and middle aged people who are prolonged users of the computer key boarding and cell phone texting. It is characterized by pain, stiffness of neck and is mostly found associated with occipital headache as well as giddiness. As condition progresses space between vertebra narrows and causes compression of nerve, hence resulting in radiculopathy which manifests as radiating pain to upper limb, numbness of palm and muscle weakness.

Our team at Ayush Ayurveda Hospital, manages this condition depending upon the stage of disease. Management mainly comprises of massage, different types of fomentations and muscle strengthening as well as neuro-protective procedures, which is usually done following a course of bio-purification therapy (Panchakarma therapy).
